The aviation library and archive are available to the public for research by appointment. Holdings include 8,000 books, 600 periodical titles, and 78,000 archival objects related to aeronautics dating from the eighteenth century to the present. With the primary focus on commercial aviation, airport development, airline history, and airplane manufacturing subjects are collection strengths. The archive houses company newsletters and house organs, technical manuals and drawings, promotional materials and ephemera, oral histories, and photography. The collection is non-lending, non-circulating, and research services are free of charge with the exception of photocopying and scanning fees.
